Juan Jose Mendoza was born on March 21, 1968 in Mexico City, studied a degree in Fine Arts at the National School of Plastic Arts of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) , is Professor of Painting , Drawing and Printmaking at the National High School of UNAM since 1995.

Currently pursuing a Master of Painting at the Academy of San Carlos de la UNAM and at the same time continuing his work as an artist.

Currently pursuing a Master of Painting at the Academy of San Carlos de la UNAM and at the same time continuing his work as an artist.

For the artist Juan Jose Mendoza, painting is a ritual that illuminates your way with colors and shades.

Among the styles that has combined, include:

Social Realism . - Where the urban landscape painting, wrestling, soccer and worldly passions, the main characters are his family, his parents, siblings , neighbors , and people in the street , who represented expressionist stroke and using seven theory Johannes Itten contrasts .

Art - Politics. - Is inspired by the Trova and Mexican Rock , takes phrases musicians like Silvio Rodríguez , Joaquín Sabina , Rodrigo González , Jaime Lopez , Gerardo Enciso, Jose Molina , Armando Rosas, Amparo Ochoa , Gabino Palomares and Cabral Facundo , transforms them into images and then materialized in plastic work pays homage to the thoughts and feelings of the musicians.

Magic Realism. - The work related to this issue, is based on the work of anthropologist Carlos Castaneda and the ?Teachings of Don Juan Matus? (philosophy of own life ) . TECHNICAL

He has taught several specialized conferences, taught courses for the general public at MUAC (Contemporary Art University Museum), has made videos for the teaching of painting, and has participated in several national and international competitions with his students, in what has been obtained deserved recognition.

To date (September 2013) has participated in over 50 group exhibitions and 21 singles.

To proceed with a change or a return, follow the steps below:

  • - Email us at customerservice@artelista.com so that our Customer Service department can contact you (Mon-Thurs, 10:00 – 14:00 and 16:00 – 18:00 / Fri, 10:00 – 14:00 Spain local time). Please, try to have on hand the order ID to facilitate and accelerate this process.
  • - The Courier will pick up the package on the place and date agreed, and once we receive the artwork, we will proceed with the refund of the paid amount.
